The University of Texas solar car team was founded in 1990 as the “Longhorn Solar Car Racing Team” and continues today as “UTSVT”. The team have built a total of five cars, with the most recent being the Samsung Solorean. Currently, we are finalizing design plans for our new car, TexSun.
